Public Utilities Guide
We don't spend a lot of time thinking about water, electric power, or telephone services. They're so much a part of our lives that we take them for granted. However, when you're trying to settle into a new home, it's one of the first things you'll need to tackle. To help make your transition a little smoother, here's a list of basic service providers in the Las Vegas Area. It's a good idea to contact these providers before you move, so everything will be ready when you arrive. When you call them, you'll need to have the following information to get started:
- Some form of identification, such as a driver's license
- Your social security number
- Information about your previous provider, including their address, telephone number, and account information. (This information is usually provided on your bill)
- Information about your employer
- Your new address and phone number
- The date you need services to begin
